Golden Girls Kennels® is located in Colorado. We breed, import, and sell Golden Retrievers from International CH lines in the USA and worldwide. We have a large range of Golden Retriever puppies such as; white golden retrievers, also known as pale golden retrievers, English crème retrievers, platinum blond, American blond, red, and many more. We do cutting edge health clearances by testing DNA for recessive genes to ensure we don't create puppies with lifelong health problems. Many of the health clearances we have on our dogs are not being done by other Golden Retriever breeders. Many of our health clearances, less than 5000 Golden Retrievers out of the hundreds of thousands registered with the AKC have been tested for. If we can gain knowledge to ensure we are breeding the best of the best through health clearances then we do it!

Our family is so full of love. We try to get together as much as we can. With three kids who now live out of state that can be a challenge. We understand how very blessed we are and try to give back as much as we can.

We have been blessed with amazing kids. This is in San Diego when our oldest returned from his deployment on the USS Theodore Roosevelt. Glad to have him back on US soil.

So proud of our son who served in the US Navy and his beautiful bride serving in the US Coast Guard. We are so proud of where their lives are taking them but we miss them like crazy and do not get to see them nearly enough.

One of our sons is a 3 time state wrestling Champion and National Champion at 220 and HWT. He had the amazing opportunity to play for football for Colorado State University.
Our son played DL for Colorado State University. Amazingly proud of him and humbled by his talent daily. Not only is he a great athlete but he is also a wonderful human- so proud of him.

Two of our children in Juarez, Mexico on a mission trip building a house for a family in need. Our family has been to Mexico on many mission trips to help out people that soon become family to us
Watching the twins grow up and into close friendships is so fun. They have great times together and it is just beginning.
Our daughter, Taya, has always loved singing.
Our daughter wants to be an actress so she participates in singing and dance as well as volleyball. She has a huge love of animals and is a big help with all the dogs. Here she is volunteering at The Food Bank of The Rockies
We may be biased but Taya is one of the coolest people to hang out with. She teaches us things every single day and look at her great smile!!!
Taya has moved on to drama in High School and has been in every play since 9th grade. Love watching her.
Serving the Lord and helping others is a huge priority in our lives. Many of our family have gone to Mexico to work in orphanages and build homes for families in need. It is a rewarding experience and the relationships we make are forever.
We are involved in so many volunteer activities and it rubs off on others. Here we are picking corn for Food Bank of The Rockies. Our family motto is, "everyone has something to give".

Raised on our 10 acre farm, the golden retrievers play with our 5 children and the constant revolving door of kids and adults who come to see the pups. They go on long rides with our horses, lay in the grass with our cats, or watch the sunset with us on the porch. Our pedigrees include many dogs imported from other countries all with confirmation champions, OFA & health clearances. All of our golden puppies are born right in the house. We assist with the birth and hand raise the pups right in our bedroom suite. They get hands on care throughout the day and are well socialized, often going to "show and tell" with one or more of our children before going to their new homes. Buyer Beware! Many kennels, puppy mills, and new Golden Retriever breeders are popping up daily- Please, please, please do your research! Do not buy a puppy from someone who does not know what they are doing. At the very minimum breeders should have clearances on hips and eyes for their adult dogs, and be willing to show you! Please be skeptical of breeders who do not do this, or do not offer to show the pedigree and clearances of the dogs they are breeding. The dogs AKC registered name should be provided so you can do research and verify that clearances have been done.
DO NOT BUY A DOG THAT IS NOT AKC REGISTERED, PEOPLE THAT SELL DOGS FROM OTHER REGISTRIES ARE MORE THAN LIKELY BREEDING DOGS THAT WERE SOLD AS PET QUALITY- THERE IS A REASON THEY WERE NOT GIVEN AKC BREEDING RIGHTS!
A breeder should have nothing to hide if they are doing the right thing and breeding sound dogs. There are too many Golden Retrievers available, so please do not make the mistake of buying one that is not from a healthy and sound line. Please use the resources available, the AKC, the OFA, and K9DATA. Breeders having more than 2 litters a year should be state licensed and inspected, as well as AKC inspected.
Buying a puppy is a serious commitment of 15-20 years, please take the time to research the puppy you are adding to your family. I am always available to help you, even if you do not buy a dog from me. Please do not support breeders who are not out to do the very best for this beautiful breed of dogs.

Our adult dogs have been tested for eyes, heart, hips, elbows, thyroid and now doing Patellar luxation and 11 recessive gene DNA tests! Our puppies are all born in the house and stay with us for 4-5 weeks in the house before being moved to a larger area where they can run and play. They are well socialized and often go to "Show and Tell" at local schools. We begin crate training before going to their new homes as well. They are members of our family and it is hard to see them go because we are so attached to them.

All of our pups are micro-chipped, come with a toy, new collar, and will also include a pet ID tag for their collar with the information you provide and the name you have chosen for your puppy.
Please contact us for a puppy or to be put on the waiting list for our next litter of puppies! Once you place a deposit on a puppy, we no longer market that puppy- so deposits are not refundable. It is not fair to the puppy, in the event that you change your mind, these are lives we are dealing with. So please make sure this is what you want before placing a deposit. If the sex you want is not available or the litter is not desirable we can move the deposit to another litter. Vet care after a dog leaves is the responsibility of the new owner. Each Vet has a different approach and as the new owner you will be responsible for deciding what is best for your puppy. Each puppy also reacts and adjusts differently to the change of a new family. Vet care and vaccinations are part of the responsibility of owning a dog.
