It's been a while since I've been in touch - I was waiting to get the pictures back from Belle's first professional photo shoot! It may be the first of many, because Belle is quite the doggie model. I can't walk down the street here in Chicago without people stopping me and asking where I found such a beautiful puppy, Belle is absolutely stunning.
From the first day I brought her home she was comfortable and happy, I didn't have any trouble with training or sleeping at night. She loved to be held (even let me touch her paws and ears without any struggle). Clearly she had excellent socialization and handling when she was young, the vet and my dog trainer say she's one of the most calm and well adjusted puppies they have ever encountered!
Everyone who meets her falls in love with her sweet and happy nature. She's the talk of the dog park, when we go there all the dog owners can't get enough of her - everyone wants to play with Belle! She gives lots of kisses to all my neighborhood kids and is very well behaved around people of all sizes. She's such a good girl!
She's brought so much love and joy into my life, I can't thank you enough. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

What a “Great” pup we picked out… Rookie/Orange puppy…which by the way we picked him because he was supporting an orange ribbon. We are both huge OSU (Oklahoma State University) sports fans as well as alumni. Nevertheless, Rookie arrived last Thursday via United just a wagging his little tail upon arrival. He appeared not to be affected by the plane ride at all. He is amazing and so adorable! And, what a little talker he is too.
He makes a lot of puppy grunting sounds when you are petting and snuggling with him…just too cute! Also, we do find it incredible that he doesn’t cry or whimper, but perhaps we don’t allow him enough time to be in any discomfort. We do set our alarm throughout the night so we can take him outside to potty every few hours. Unfortunately, today will be the first day he has to spend a few hours alone so we will see how he does. I am predicting he will do “Great!” He is such a little trooper and such a happy boy! What a beautiful puppy as well.
Thanks again for giving this puppy such an amazing start in life… We just love him to pieces!

Wanted to drop you an “update” on Maui and a few pictures. Our little girl is doing fantastic. She is doing great with her housebreaking, sits on command (especially for treats) and has made quick friends with the big German Shepherd next door.
We have enrolled in puppy school and start on Sunday. Can you tell she is spoiled already? Our feline girls are a little put out…they have taken residence in the downstairs bedroom and are cautiously making their way into Maui’s territory.

MaKena completed her first course of obedience training and zoomed through the agility course they set up on the last night, she absolutely loved everything wihile most of the other dogs were hesitant to try anything.
One of her favorite activities is riding in her plastic pool when it is empty, she jumps in and barks at us when she wants a ride, I have attached a picture of her going for a ride. I was looking at Hilo's page and noticed that she likes to sit on rocks, Kenna is like a mountain goat, I took her to the nature park today for one last swim before the weather changes and she spends a lot of time climbing on the rocks and trying to balance before she just jumps in, she is a true joy and a very intelligent puppy, I also attached a picture of her with Maggie our 14 year old golden, she loves Maggie and they sleep together every night at the foot of our bed.
She also brought the newspaper in from the driveway on her first day at home.

We absolutely love our little puppy. We renamed her Lucy.
She's calm and sweet and very easy to train. She's outgrown her puppy collar and is ready for a big girl collar.
