Finally…some pictures of Marley. Hopefully the captions will come through. A few words about this wonderful dog. Marley came into our lives at a very opportune time. When we brought him home we had no premonition of the turmoil our family would soon face, but days after Marley entered our lives we were confronted with a major change in our lives that none of us could see coming. This amazing animal, through it all, has kept smiles on our faces and seems to know when to provide that little something that only a sweet and kind dog can provide. Marley is very mellow, yet playful and fun. We seem to have skipped all of the things that can be a bummer about owning a puppy, but got all of the good stuff. More than anything, Marley is very kind and loving. As he has grown, he is becoming more and more of a momma’s boy. He never ventures far from Suzanne’s side and has taken to watching TV with her at the foot of her bed, or more like “on” the foot of the bed. Marley loves to play with the Black Lab next door named Maggie. We are all amazed because nobody has ever seen Maggie be so social. We look forward to better weather and a chance to take Marley on hikes. The few walks and hikes he has been on so far have been great and he loves to be out in the big world. We will be forever grateful that we discovered your kennel, but calling what you do “breeding” would be to sell these wonderful dogs short. It is clear by the quality of the dogs that you invest a tremendous amount of love in the process. Thank you for this great gift and happy holidays. Here are some pictures. Here's Riley hanging out near our lake (9wks old). She is doing great and is beginning to play happily in the water along the shoreline. I figure next week or so I will have her actively swimming. House training is going great and she continues to seem very comforted by her crate. She travels well in the car and is enjoying her trips to Starbucks, Home Depot, local parks, and anywhere she can be around people. Everywhere we go she gets 'oohs and ahs'. We tell my 17 year old son that she can serve as a great 'chick magnet'....the girls always seem to be especially infatuated with such a beautiful puppy.

Riley had a big weekend...she took her first real swim in the lake (just a brief retrieve of her favorite multi-colored tennis ball) and she spent about a half-hour on our ocean-kayak today. She did great in the kayak and did not seem to be the least fazed by the boat rocking and tipping (I purposefully kept her off balance even though the lake was very calm). I think she is going to learn to love it.

Just want to tell you that my family loves " Charlie". We have had 4 goldens before and each one was special in their own way. Charlie is the most affectionate of all. He loves to hug and kiss and sit on our laps. The picture, to the right, is what he considers to be his new cage. 800 square feet and a king size bed.
