Hi ladies - been a while since I sent you an update... Ms Riley is going to be a year old here shortly - she's just as amazing as ever. We are lucky to have her in our lives - could never thank you enough!
She's a very smart puppy, and training is going well!! Just absolutely in love with this dog. She's good for my soul; her and I have become quite the pair!

Hi Kate and Jen,
It is hard to believe our little man, Dakota, is now 13 months old. As you remember he is "blue" from the litter of Coco and Ono. It has been amazing watching him grow into a full size pup and into our hearts. There have been no dull moments.
We can't go anywhere where we are not stopped by multiple people who comment on how beautiful he is. He is often mobbed by people who want to know his breed and pet on him. He loves every minute. And we have told numerous people about Golden Girls Kennels.

Below are some pictures of Alba. She lives in Brazil and is the light of her owners life.
Kate, Alba arrived just fine, was very active and responsive from the beginning, fetching balls from the very first day she arrived here (I guess there is a reason they are called retrievers, right?). Hip joints are perfect, as verified by exams made a few months ago. n all she has an excellent personality, very playful both with people and other animals, and lets herself be groomed without any problems, from taking a bath to trimming nails and cleaning her teeth. Her overall looks draw so much attention that I try to go to places where people are already familiar with her (to avoid the inevitable questions about where she comes from, why she is to white, etc). I often go to the beach and hiking with her.
Anyways, just thought you'd like to know how this little girl is doing right on the other side of the globe.

I thought I would give you an update on Mr. Jones. He is doing great. He has three weeks of puppy school left. He is a great student. I work with him every day and have established the alpha role with him, which I think he doesn't like all the time. He has met several puppy friends and lots of people friends in the neighborhood. Everyone LOVES Mr. Jones and gets so excited when they see him.

Hi Kate! It's been a long time. Just thought I'd send you a note about Kai and how he's doing. First, we walk with Reef most days of the week. Kai and Reef are best buddies. Kai is doing so well. He's been a super joy to our family and we can't picture life before him now. He's such a loving dog and EVERYONE tells us how well natured he is. My niece brings over her 2 year old and they are just buds. Kai is very gentle and wonderful when all the little kids play with him The one picture is of Kai and Reef. They love dog beach. Kai loves our pool. We had to put our fence back up to keep him out of it. He kept getting in it and tracking water all over our home. LOL Anyway, thanks for such a wonderful addition to our home!!!

Long time!! Just wanted to update you some more on Kai. He is WONDERFUL!!!! We all love him so much!! He is so gentle and loving. He is truly a blessing in our lives. We still walk with Reef most days of the week and they will always be best buddies. Here's a few more pictures for you.
